Each month, Employers remit employee pension contributions to The Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund (CTPF). Illinois law requires that these contributions be made within a certain time period. If the Employer does not send payroll dates and/or funds within the required time, penalties may be assessed.
The Employers listed in the Employer Contribution Report made pension contributions or payroll record submissions past their due date and have been assessed statutory penalties, liquidated damages, and interest in accordance with Article 17 of the Illinois Pension Code. They have either not sought a waiver or have been denied a waiver.
