The 2026 Open Enrollment Period will run from October 1-31, 2025. During this time, annuitants can enroll, add or drop a dependent, or change a health insurance plan. Changes become effective January 1, 2026.

Non-Medicare Plans
Plans and plan design for 2026 remain unchanged for Non-Medicare Plans.
Medicare Plans
Plans for 2026 remain unchanged for Medicare Plans. For members enrolled in Express Scripts, the existing copays will increase slightly for 2026, and a new $200 brand deductible will be added.
Health Insurance Premium Subsidy
At the August 2025, Board of Trustees meeting, the health insurance premium subsidy was set to 60% for 2026. The subsidy is only available to eligible CTPF members. Dependent coverage is not eligible for the subsidy.

Open Enrollment In-Person Seminars
CTPF will host in-person seminars on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn (9333 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn, IL, 60453). Registration is required and will open on September 24, 2025.
