CTPF Trustees and Employees Recognized at December Board of Trustees Meeting

At the December 12, 2024, Board of Trustees meeting, CTPF celebrated the dedication of its Trustees and staff through its Milestone and special recognition programs.  

Milestone Awards 

Trustee Paula S. Barajas was honored for her first year of service, while 41 employees were recognized for reaching significant milestones of 1, 5, 10, 15, and 25 years. A highlight of the ceremony was the special recognition of Gail Davis, Director of Administrative Services, for her extraordinary 40 years of service in 2024, and Nedda Bulbin for 25 years of service.

Special Recognition 

The Board also presented Distinguished Service Awards to former Trustees Victor Ochoa and Tanya D. Woods. 

Elected to the Board in 2021, Trustee Ochoa made a significant impact, serving as chair of the Technology Committee and contributing to several other committees, including Investment, Finance and Audit, Pension Laws and Administrative Rules, Claims and Service Credits, and Elections.

Joining the Board in 2023 as a representative of the Board of Education, Trustee Woods brought fresh perspectives and valuable insights. She served on the Investments, Pension Laws and Administrative Rules, and Elections committees, making notable contributions during her tenure.
