During their May 16, 2024, meeting, the CTPF Board of Trustees voted to appoint Pedro Beiza to fill the vacant Principal/Administrator Trustee position created by the resignation of Trustee Jerry Travlos. Trustee Beiza took the oath of office during the meeting and will serve until the next election scheduled for November 2024. 

“We welcome Trustee Beiza to the Board of Trustees,” said Carlton W. Lenoir, Sr., Executive Director. “We appreciate his willingness to serve our members and look forward to working collaboratively with him in the months ahead.” 

Trustee Beiza has 28 years of experience in CPS, and currently serves as the Principal of West Park STEAM Academy. He is highly regarded as a dedicated leader with a strong work ethic who consistently collaborates with stakeholders to provide all students with a safe and positive learning experience. He holds a B.A. in the teaching of history from University of Illinois Chicago and a M.A. in educational administration from Northeastern Illinois University.
