Voting for all CTPF Trustee Elections is now underway and ends at 5:00 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

CTPF is holding elections for:

  • One (1) Pensioner Trustee to fill a vacancy for a term ending November 2019 (voting October 19-November 7, 2018)

     
  • Two (2) Teacher Trustees to serve three-year terms ending November 2021 (voting November 1-7, 2018)

     
  • One (1) Teacher Trustee to fill a vacancy for a one-year term ending November 2019 (voting November 1-7, 2018)

Pensioner Trustee Election Information

CTPF mailed ballots by first-class mail to all eligible pensioners on October 19, 2018. 

Pensioners who have not yet received a ballot should contact Election Services Corporation immediately. Email ctpfhelp@electionservicescorp.com or call 1-866-720-4357 for assistance. 

Voting closes on November 7, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. (CT). All paper ballots must be received by November 7, 2018, in order to be counted in the election total. Members voting today should vote online to make sure ballots are counted. 

Teacher Trustee Election Information

All teachers will vote online using a secure electronic ballot. Online voting is available through 5:00 p.m. (CT) on November 7, 2018. 

Teachers in Schools

Teachers in schools received voting instructions from school Pension Representatives. Election Services Corporation (ESC), CTPF’s third-party election services provider, also sends reminder emails to members who have valid email addresses on file.

Citywide/Substitute Teachers

Teachers who are not assigned a school, (citywide/substitutes), will receive voting instructions at their homes via U.S. Mail. Ballots were mailed on October 29, 2018, to addresses on file with CTPF. If you have not received a ballot but think you are eligible to vote, you may contact ESC at 1-866-720-4357 or email ctpfhelp@electionservicescorp.com. Citywide teachers with valid email addresses on file may also receive email reminders from ESC.
