Retirement Webinars 

CTPF members planning to retire in 2026 are invited to join us for one of our 2026 Retirement Webinars. These sessions are your chance to dive into everything you need to know about the CTPF retirement process—all in one place.   

Get ready to start this exciting new chapter with the information and resources that make planning easier. We’re here to guide you and ensure you feel prepared for what’s ahead. Webinars will include time for Q&A to help answer your questions.

The 2026 Retirement Webinars will be held at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, and Tuesday, March 24, 2026. To receive a pension estimate in time for the webinars, please register by February 6th for the February 16th session, and by March 13th for the March 24th session. Register in advance on the CTPF Calendar or by calling Member Services at 312-641-4464.

Retirement Application

Download and refer to the retirement checklist in the Application for Service Retirement for a list of all required documents. The application can be accessed online using the member self-service portal (myCTPF). Read through the form, start collecting your required documentation, and make a list of questions you need answered.

Submit Forms Electronically 

For efficient processing, CTPF encourages members to send retirement applications, forms, and documents by fax 312-641-7185 or email an attachment (.pdf or .jpg format) to imaging@ctpf.org. After documents are sent via fax or email, please mail the originals to CTPF. You can also call or email Member Services to request a retirement counseling appointment.

Answers to Your Retirement Questions

Counselors are available to answer individual questions about retirement and health insurance and to help you complete your retirement application. Phone, video, and in-person counseling appointments are available. Appointments are also required to drop off forms and applications. Members should call Member Services at 312-641-4464 or send an email to memberservices@ctpf.org to schedule an appointment. Note: Walk-in appointments are not accepted. Visitors need to be added to the building's security list in advance of their visit.
